Scientific profile: I specialize in molecular dynamics simulations to study liquids' dynamics, structure, and stability toward crystallization. With colleagues at Roskilde, I developed the isomorph theory to predict the behavior of materials at elevated pressures. I have also suggested the interface-pinning method to study solid-liquid transitions in-silico. Recently I have been interested in developing analytical theories for nearly hard-spere systems such as the Weeks-Chandler-Anderson model, harmonic-repulsive particles, and Hertzian spheres.
